Shipping

We can Ship throughout the United States.

For most packages under five pounds, shipping will cost roughly $10 in-state and $15 elsewhere. Out-of-state orders generally qualify as tax-exempt.

Our site will provide a direct quote on shipping your particular package according to its weight and speed.

Most of our products can be safely delivered by ground. Cheeses tend to need two-day shipping, and you may want that for other temperature-sensitive products, such as chocolate bars (though hot cocoa will be fine) if it is especially hot or cold where you live when you order. Two-day shipping is roughly twice the ground cost, and our site will quote that, too.

Wine shipments

incur an additional UPS/FedEx fee for a signature (to make sure it goes to an adult) of about $10, which we pass on to you along with the packaging. We don’t make money shipping, and we try especially hard to keep the costs down for wine. See our Wine page for details.

We can ship wine to these states without restriction: California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

We can also ship to these, but be aware that they may carry some restrictions that apply to you. You are responsible for any local applicable laws: Alabama, Connecticut, Dist. Columbia, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, and Wyoming.

You may not order wine shipped to these states: Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Montana, New York, North Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia. As the laws change, we will be happy to ship wherever it is legal.
